These two movies basicly have the same story. Talking about a human girl that curious of a boy in her high school and then fall in love to him, so do the boy. And then the girl found out that the boy isn’t human but vampire. But that don’t make the girl stay away from the boy. Why?because love is the answer.
The way the vampires live is also have similiarity. Only have animal blood. But in vampire diaries only one of the salvatore brothes which is stefan who drink animal blood and the brother, damon live like any other vampires. Sucking human blood and he never feel guilty for that. But, overall Damon is just like any other bad boy who will care for someone he love. Such a cool boy anyway . But i haven’t found any werewolf yet in Vampire Diaries.
Comparing from the novels and the movies adapted. Twilight is most represent the novels. Because the director and the novel’s writer corporate together to make the movies retell the novel. Even the secuel of Twilight (New Moon) I think the plot is very fast just like running chasing the novel’s plot. Because the novel itself (New Moon) is thicker than the first one. I imagine how is the forth novel going represent because it’s double thicker than the first one i guess. As i heard it’s going to be two movies for the last novel of twilight novel series (Breaking Dawn). And for the Vampire Diaries, after I have a quick read for the novels, it has some different things. Like the caharcters name. Some of them is being changed. I don’t know why. Yeah, that is one of the burden adapting movies from best seller novels. Many people will pay attention. And if it’s not as good as people excepted it will have many critics.
Overall, I still like these two movies. It’s not always sucking human blood, Horror things. Quite balance with the romance. It’s a new era of vampire movies. Rocks!!
